Europe Trip 2024
Exciting news! We have planned a HUGE trip to Europe for December 2024. So far we have booked the flights and reserved a few hotels, but we have a lot of planning to complete for the experiences, adventures, and food that we will enjoy.
- Fly from Adelaide to London via Singapore
- Enjoy London and Windsor
- Drive to the South West of England to visit Christian’s mum for her 80th birthday
- Fly to Scotland and enjoy Edinburgh and Glasgow
- Fly to Helsinki and then get an overnight train to Lapland
- Visit Santa and spend time at the Arctic Circle to see the Northern Lights, and maybe some skiing
- Return from Rovaniemi to Live music in Glasgow, via a 4 hour layover in Gatwick (goodbye to the whole of Saturday 14th December!)
- Flying over to Stockholm in Sweden
- A single night in Helsinki, so that we can get the ferry over to Tallinn
- A few days in Tallinn in Estonia
- Then visiting Riga in Latvia
- The flying in to Germany, starting with Christmas in Berlin
- Then visiting other parts of Germany, probably Dresden and Cologne
- Spending New Year in Amsterdam
- Eurostar back to London for a few days
- Then back to Adelaide!
This will take us seven weeks, and generate lots of new blog articles!
Skydiving 2025
Adrenaline inducing skydiving is on the cards for 2025 – Christian plans to do some solo skydiving! Watch this space to see more.
Asia or Japan 2026
We plan to explore somewhere in Asia in 2026, perhaps skiing in Japan. Christian loves to ski, but it all depends if Bianca enjoys the experience from the 2024 Christmas trip.
Southern Europe in 2027
After doing the cold Northern Europe grand tour in 2024, we plan to return to Europe in the summer of 2027, and explore some of the warmer countries. This will definitely include Croatia, and perhaps Italy, Spain, some Greek islands and maybe Malta.
